Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CureTracker collects when you visit https://curetracker.org/, why, and what you can do about it. It is written with the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act in mind.
The short version.
There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing you search for is tied to you, and no personal data is sold or shared. The two things kept in your browser never leave it.
What is collected
- Server logs. The web server records the IP address, time, page requested and browser user-agent of each request. These exist to keep the service running and secure. They are kept only as long as that needs — days rather than months — and are never used to build a profile of you.
- What you search for. The condition you look up is sent to the server so it can fetch the trials. It appears in the log described above and in a results cache stored by condition name, not by visitor. It is not linked to you.
- Two items in your browser. That you dismissed the cookie notice, and which pipeline stages you left open. Both live in your browser's local storage, are never sent to the server, and cannot be read by this site's operator. Clearing your browser storage removes them.
- No cookies are set by this site. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking script.
Other services your browser contacts
Two files on this page are loaded from other companies' servers: the styling library from Cloudflare's CDN and the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. To serve those files, those companies receive your IP address and browser details. Neither is controlled by CureTracker, and both are used purely to render the page.
Who else sees your search
Requests to ClinicalTrials.gov, openFDA and the language model that writes the explanations are made by this site's server, not by your browser — so those services see the server, not you. The condition name and drug name are included in those requests, because they are what is being asked about. No identifier of yours is attached.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. Given what is described above, there is very little to hold — but you are welcome to ask, using the address on the contact page, and a reply will follow within 30 days. California residents: no personal information is sold or shared, and nothing is done differently to anyone who exercises a privacy right.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
